ore times than not I’m grateful for my mindset. I’m not perfect by a long-shot, but my reasoning skills are proving to be better than most I come across.
On Facebook, there’s this young lady who gets her rocks off by posting pictures of people, ranging from those in uncompromising situations to people wearing things they shouldn’t be wearing. After being tagged in her folder of madness, you can’t escape being sucked into a conversation about each picture someone comments on.
Recently, she posted a picture with three Asian guys in it. The way they were situated prompted many comments about their potential homosexuality. A guy who got offended at the remarks made a comment in defense of the three fellas. Knowing that he is gay, and knowing that at any given moment he could turn this particular thread into something unpleasant, I inboxed her. I told her that the guy is gay and may get more offended at the comments that kept rolling in. I suggested that she untag him from the pictures to prevent any drama on his part on her page. She messaged me back and told me to tell my friend don’t come back to her page anymore, everyone is fair game, and the gay guys she knew would laugh him out of the room…she then deleted and blocked me.
I’m not mad at her – in fact, I’m pretty apathetic to the whole situation. Only because I know this world relies on negativity. Anything else would be boring to them. It just goes to show how people think, and why I shouldn’t feel bad for not being so receptive to alliances with people. Especially those who seem to enjoy the demise of others.
